Alumni Statistics

In Spring 2005, a survey was conducted of CEU Business School’s alumni. You can find results below.

The CEU Business School unites young professionals from all over the world, mainly from the European Union and non-EU countries and increasingly also now from the rest of the world.

Not one undergraduate background dominates our intake. Our students’ first degrees range from biology to economics and from law to engineering.

Being able to work in a multilingual environment is crucial for successful managers. 97% of our graduates are able to work in a language other than their native, and nearly two-thirds are able to work in three or more languages.

85% of our alumni were employed within three months after graduation and almost one- third had job offers before graduation.

Our students are active job seekers from the start of their program. Almost two-third of our alumni interviewed with two to five companies in their job search.

Consulting has proved to be the most popular sector for employment, with 23% of our alumni reporting working there. The next two most popular areas are banking/finance and telecom/it with 17% and 12% respectively.

More than one third of our graduates reported that their salary doubled and almost half of them increased their salary between 75–100%.
